This original Art Deco air show poster features three stylized biplanes flying in formation into the clouds. It announces the 6eme Fete de Aviation which takes place over the long, Pentecostal holiday weekend. The event was held in the Paris airfield at Bois de Vincennes, a park which is steeped in aviation history. The airfield first garnered attention from the departure of the Dupuy's balloon in 1872 and continued hosting important aeronautic event until 1971 when it played host to the 60th anniversary of European Circuit.
